The Berrien County Cancer Service is dedicated to supporting our community by offering vital services to those in need.

- Support Groups – No one should face cancer alone. We have support groups that meet on a regular basis. Whether your a cancer survivor, newly diagnosed, or a care-giver of someone going through cancer, we want to feel supported in your journey. Check out our events page for dates and times of the next upcoming meeting.
- Durable Medical Equipment Resource Locker – We lend essential equipment like walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs, and more at no cost to cancer patients. Non-cancer patients can borrow items for up to 3 months. Call to check availability. See Equipment & Supplies below.
- Wig Boutique & Mastectomy Supplies – We offer wigs, turbans, scarves, breast prostheses, and mastectomy bras for those without insurance in a private, comfortable setting.
- Free Medical Supplies – Wound care, incontinence, nutrition support, and other essential supplies are available at no cost.
- In-Home Skilled Nursing Visits – skilled nursing visits at no cost by registered nurses for cancer patients in Berrien County. Our experienced registered nurses provide compassionate, in-home care tailored to your needs. Working closely with local oncology clinics and physicians, they deliver skilled nursing services based on your doctor’s orders. Whether it’s port-a-catheters, PICC lines, dressing changes, or blood draws, our nurses are well-equipped to help. We look forward to supporting you. - Social Agency Referrals – We can help connect you to other community resources if you need additional assistance.
- Speakers Bureau – Our team is available to speak at group events to share more about our services.

Equipment & Supplies

Our Resource Locker offers durable medical equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, crutches, and more. We also provide comfort supplies, ostomy products, wigs, hats, turbans, breast prosthetics, and prosthesis bras for those without insurance. Supplemental Nutritional drinks are available to help those undergoing cancer treatment.
Cancer patients can borrow items for as long as needed, and we also lend durable medical equipment to anyone with a medical need for up to 3 months. A “mini resource locker” near our office on the 2nd floor of the Marie Yeager Cancer Center holds commonly needed items. Please call ahead to ensure availability.
