Female Cancer Awareness Month! Think women empowering and encouraging each other, talking about things that we need to be talking about more, and learning ways to take care of ourselves. Our hope is that this will be a fun, educational, heartfelt and uplifting event! Come and learn from the areas top nurses in oncology. Presenters will speak on the different gynecological cancers and when/how to prevent and screen. You can wear your most audacious outfit and decorate an extravagant hat for the hat contest! There will be a presentation by Peri Hansen on the power of journaling, with her journaling guides available to explore. Timetta Pipkins Wilson will share her overcoming cancer story, "Building Up What's Been Torn Down" is her motto.
