June is a time to honor strength, resilience, hope, and the incredible journeys of cancer survivors everywhere. As we recognize Survivors Month 2026, we are reminded that survivorship is not simply about overcoming illness — it is about courage, community, and continuing forward despite life’s greatest challenges.
Our Beyond the Journey Dinner was a beautiful reflection of that spirit. We are deeply grateful to every person who attended, supported, and believed in our mission of walking alongside local cancer patients and families with compassion and care.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors and donors whose support made this evening possible:
Brown Family Funeral Home – Title Sponsor
Hein Electric – Entertainment Sponsor
DSS Valves – Dinner Sponsor
Tyler Technologies – Dessert Sponsor
The Refinery- Table Sponsor
United Federal Credit Union – Table Sponsor
Bob Cooley – Table Sponsor
Your generosity allows us to continue serving our community and reminds our patients that they are never alone on their journey.

We are especially thankful to our inspiring speakers — all cancer survivors — who shared their stories with honesty, courage, and hope: Ken Constant, Sylvia Baker, and our keynote speaker, Dr. Robyn Emde. Your voices touched hearts and reminded us all of the power of perseverance and human connection.
To our incredible team members Blair and John, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and tireless work behind the scenes. Your commitment helps make every aspect of our mission possible. We are also grateful for our wonderful volunteers, Carol Weller and Kathy Burch, whose kindness and willingness to serve continue to bless this organization and the people we support.
Thank you to the staff at The Loading Dock for providing such a welcoming atmosphere for the evening, and to CK Catering for the fabulous service and delicious meal that helped make the night so memorable.
As we reflect during Survivors Month, we celebrate every survivor, remember every family touched by cancer, and renew our commitment to supporting every journey with care and compassion.
We are also looking forward to celebrating with all of you again at our Survivors Party on Thursday, June 4.
We cannot wait to come together once more to honor survivorship, fellowship, and hope.
Thank you for being part of Beyond the Journey.
